| AdminHistory | Edward Elsdale Clark, solicitor, who gave his name to the firm, was in business from about 1850. He succeeded William Shearburn. Much of the local public business of the Snaith and Rawcliffe area passed through their hands. They were stewards of the local manioral courts and the local landowners were their clients. |
