DescriptionIncludes Brewster Sessions - licenses to be issued or refused, also includes notes on charges of crimes such as assault, letting a dog loose, riotous behaviour, using obscene language, horse straying, larceny, cattle straying, using a wheelbarrow on a footpath, wilful damage to property, bastardy, drunk and disorderly, dog without licence, chimneys being on fire, cutting spruce trees, damage to a cricket ground, vagrancy, drunk while in charge of a horse, riding a bike furiously, stealing rabbit skins, attempt to murder by shooting, obstructing a footpath, throwing stones, unjust weights, sending indecent drawings, child murder at Winterton (the case was sent to the assizes), also includes a dissenter from the 3rd regiment of Dragoon Guards, George William Gilbert, 8 Jan 1900. Gives names of individuals involved in the different cases and statements. Includes lists of young people relating to a breach of byelaws on education and non-compliance. It gives the number of possible times of attendance, those that have received orders and a fine for disobeying the order. The volume appears to relate to the petty sessional area of Scunthorpe and Epworth.
