The reports give the nature of the accident, place, supposed cause of accident, superintendent's recommendations or remarks, chief constable's remarks, result of summons or inquest, evidence, details of deceased, description of vehicles. Some abstracts include another type of report which was sent to the Ministry of Transport and which summarised the relevant transport elements of the accident, that is, the condition of the roadway, the type of vehicle and the driver's experience. |
