DescriptionIncludes date of birth, date of death (when given) and occasionally photographs. The covering dates given for each file generally relate to the date of appointment and then the date of leaving the force or occasionally the date when the widow died. When a file contains a computer printout, the date when the individual joined the force is given as 1974 which is when Humberside Police Force was set up. History sheet relates to time served in the Lincolnshire Constabulary, applicant's schedule relates to Hull City Police, the record of service sheets, appointment to the regular force and computer printouts relate to Humberside Police, application by [name] for appointment relates to the North Riding of Yorkshire Constabulary. The index card usually has a photograph attached.
