DescriptionYorkshire Water's Museum at Springhead pumping station. Water has been supplied form the site since 1293, with the building itself built in 1864. A Cornish beam engine was installed in 1876 but was retired in 1910, World War two saw it pressed back into service but it was last used in 1952
