This circuit was created in September 1934 on the amalgamation of the Howden, Hailgate and Howden, St John circuits (for records see EMG/65-124 and 125-126 respectively). In September 1952 this circuit joined with that of North Cave to form the Howden Caves circuit (for records see EMG/162-164) Places of worship
