The earliest records are those of the Goole and Rawcliffe circuit (United Methodist Free) 1852?-1893, which consisted of the churches of Rawcliffe and Goole, St John St In 1893 the circuit became the Goole circuit (United Methodist Free), which contained only one church, the Goole United Methodist Free church (presumably this was the same church as Goole, St John Street, only renamed). This church was replaced by the Goole, Boothferry Road church, which was the only church in the renamed Goole United Methodist circuit (1907-) Following the Methodist Union of 1932, the Goole, Boothferry Road church joined the Goole, North St circuit 1932-1940 (for records see EMG 10-43) and then the Goole, Carlisle Terrace circuit 1940-1942 (for records see EMG/44-49)
