DescriptionRefers to a visit to the opera to see Othello, with Mademoiselle Grisi as Desdemona, and the recent acquisition of a bow about her own height in length. Describes a trip to London to see a Diorama which included the crypt of the St Denis church in France, Fountains Abbey interior and a total eclipse of the moon. Also describes a visit to the nursery gardens in Regents Park where there were many greenhouses of 'new and scarce plants which I had never seen before'. Also contains a postscript written by Fanny Shepherd relating to Harriet's health. Written from Bromley Common.
