Description | Parties: 1) Daniel Hoare the elder, Kingston upon Hull, merchant 2) Daniell Hoare the younger, son of Daniel Hoare the elder, Kingston upon Hull, merchant Daniel Hoare the elder assigns to Daniel Hoare the junior all goods and merchandise and other personal estate as of 31 Dec last to be used for trade and other business, amounting to £l,604 18s 3d; all parts of vessels Daniel Hoare the elder owns and all the profits he has of his 'factorage and commission trade'; Daniel Hoare the elder shall stand to the losses of all outstanding debts, as in the annexed account Daneil Hoare the younger, his wife and family, shall cohabit with Daniel Hoare the elder, his wife and family, in a house in High Street, Kingston upon Hull, without rent; the two families will have joint use of the house, warehouses and staith, at the charge of housekeeping for both families Daniel Hoare the younger will take possession of the goods etc and be accountable for the same in money to Daniel Hoare the elder; he is to stand for the hazards of profit and loss for the future, and all debts contracted since 31 Dec last; he will pay the debts in the annexed account and any since contracted by Daniel Hoare the elder Daniel Hoare the younger will pay Daniel Hoare the elder £130 per year and will repay £500 by next Lady Day [25 Mar] and will then be abated £30 a year Daneil Hoare the elder may take back some of the estate at six months notice, provided he does not trade to the disadvantage of Daniel Hoare the younger; £6 will be abated from the annual payment for every £100 called back Provision made for the education and upkeep of John T Frogget Not signed |
