Description | Parties: 1) Richard Williamson merchant and Mary Wallis, (eldest daughter of Towers Wallls alderman and merchant deceased) 2) James Wallis merchant son and heir of Towers Wallls all of Hull Towers Wallls having left to Mary Wallis £1000 (of which £500 was to be paid on her marriage with Richard Williamson; and the other £500 to be paid two years after his death and to be added to £500 to be raised by Richard Williamson to purchase an estate to be settled as Mary Wallis jointure), and Richard Williamson being unable to raise his £500; it is agreed that the £1000 shall remain in the hands of James Wallis until the marriage and shall then be laid out in purchasing an estate to specified uses of the marriage Witnesses: William Thompson, Robert Gray and John Wilkinson |
