AdminHistory	William Christopher Alton (17 Jul 1870-1958) was an engineer who lived at 30 Victoria Road in Driffield. He purchased stock of Matthew Boak, photographer, in about 1905. Boak had set up his business in Driffield in 1859 and he died in 1906. Some of the negatives listed on the accompanying index cards were missing when they were transferred, numbers 22 and 41-49.
