Description | Jonathan Midgley (d. 1778) devised his estate at Lissett to his daughter Anna (d. 1795), whose husband William Norton, Baron Grantley, enjoyed it until his death in 1822. Lissett manor then passed to William Beverley, husband of Anna's sister Mary (d. 1802).
