Thomas Mander is one of the surviving children of James Mander of Bakewell, esquire, deceased, and Merrial Mander his wife, Merrial Mander was one of the daughters of Martha Greene, deceased, who was the wife of William Greene of York, esquire, deceased. Martha Greene was the other daughter of Henry Waterland, deceased. James Mander died on 15 Apr 1829 and Merrial Mander died 31 Mar 1833, both being buried at Bakewell. They had 11 children, Henry Waterland Mander, John Mander, James Mander, Thomas Mander, Nicholas Mander, William Mander, Eccles Mander, Mary Mander, Merrial Mander, Anne Mander, and Frances Mander. Eccles Mander died 14 Mar 1822, without issue, and was buried at Islington, Middlesex, Frances Mander died 19 Aug 1839 and was buried at Bakewell. Nicholas Mander died 15 Nov 1846 and was buried at Clifton, Gloucester. |
