Note: Charles Wilson is the second son and heir of Mary Wilson, deceased, wife of William Wilson, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, esquire, deceased. His brother William Wilson died before reaching the age of 21 years. Mary Wilson was a daughter and co-heir of Christopher Scott of Kingston upon Hull, merchant, and his wife Ann Clark, spinster. Joshua Scott their only son died before reaching the age of 21 years.
