Description
Margaret Strickland-Constable's diaries give a valuable insight into the effects the Zeppelin raids had over the east coast, particularly over Hornsea and Hull. She relates many anecdotes about conversations she overhears and her experiences as a nurse at Brooklands' Officers Hospital at Cottingham and the VAD Hospital at Hornsea. She also relates her visits to London where she worked in the Woolwich Arsenal.
