DescriptionDiary has 'Brooklands' written on the cover, but she appears to use one half of diary to record her nursing experiences at Brooklands and the other half of her life at Hornsea. She lists the officers she nursed during one particular week, some operations carried out giving name of officer and injury. She also mentions those officers and nurses who suffered with the influenza epidemic. Includes loose pieces; notes on patients, a newspaper cutting of air raids annotated with casualties, 1914-1915 and corresponding handwritten list of raids on the east coast. Mentions going to Aberdour and meeting the 'Beattys' (1st Earl Beatty). She refers to her attendance at Mark Sykes' funeral.
