Niece and goddaughter Emma (daughter of Rev Francis and Anne Simpson) £200 per annum; to children of landlord and landlady Mr and Mrs William North £20 each; to each executor £50 each. Any remaining money to be split as follows: Yorkshire Philosophical Societ £10, York County Hospital £50, York Mechancis Institute £20, York Infant School £10, York Dispensary £10, York Blind School £10. Also leaves George Strickland (eldest brother) some books.
