Description
This pageant was produced by Mr Ernest Symmons of the 'Picture Playhouse' cinema in Saturday Market, previously the Corn Market and currently (2013) Browns of York. The procession had assembled in the garden of St Mary's Manor (then the residence of Mr Phillip Hodgson) before making its way up New Walk.
