Includes references to going to Hambleton then York, it therefore being imposible to receive Grimston's rents until his return; there being accounts with himself and Mr Tho[ma]s Peirse to settle; Foggey's Barn and Wilkinson's stable being impossible to undertake this year due to bricks being so dear and at such a great distance; his clay having failed him again causing great expense and inconvenience; the races and Mr Turner being much recovered and expected to be at York, him being little hurt by the accident and now at Burton
