DescriptionIncludes references to having attended Mr Morn S[enio]r W[illia]m Rowley's Secretary to Mr Burton's Compting house with Mr Groves; having examined his account and everything being to Mr Groves' satisfaction, leaving Grimston with nothing but to accept the small Ball[an]ce which is due from Sir W[illia]m Rowley; Miss Legard having been paid the £30 she sent for on Grimston's account but Thompson having told her that it would be as well for her to have Grimston's order for any future calls; an account to Stables for £300 having been accepted; having talked to Groves about Grimston's wishes to be kind to Hardwick and Groves has advised him how he will transact the affair without letting Hardwick know that Grimston is concerned in the matter in this way and their Ministry not yet being settled but it being generally thought that it will be D Newcastle and Pit as they have agreed things between them
