DescriptionIncludes references to having arrived there with Dolly, Fanny, Arthur and Billy; unsure of how to get letters conveyed for the Post; the following evening a chariot will convey the seniors of the family; having drawn upon Mr Thompson for thirty pounds; Sir Geo having a servant that went into the city; Mr Thompson not having an order from Grimston and being unwilling to send it; her sister's things being all but done; still having her sister's stuff shoes; being unwilling to have the embroidered ones (got for her by Mrs Robinson) made up till she hears how they fit and if they fit well having them made up on the same last; Grimston's picture being very like and a good painting; Mr Wilson having asked if he has any directions about the frame; Mrs Creyk not having had a meeting with Lord Winchelsea so there having been no opportunity to mention Mr Rider to him; what has passed between them having been through Mr Deering his Lordship's Chaplain; she despairing of getting anything done about her medals and hoping to be set at Liberty from her engagements within three weeks when they propose to travel together into Yorkshire;
