Includes references to Cash from Mr Staples; having paid for the work done at Phillips and Mr Peirses bill; presuming Grimston has been sollicited by Mr Peirse to attend the View and Tryal as he has been named as a Juror; Grimston having a considerable property in that Neighbourhood and his tennants having benefitted by Mr Peirses navigating the River fees; hoping that Grimston will engage S[i]r G Cayley to do the same; Mr Peirse having sustained great hardships and done considerable service by bringing Navigation so far into their part of the country; having stayed in Stamford and just arrived in London and being much out of health; desiring Sir Digby Legard would give his attendance; the Duke having gone abroad with only three men, L[or]d Albemarle, Col[onel]s Hudson and Keppel; Mr Pitt and asking for post to be directed to AL Swymmer MP Upper Grosvenor Street; inviting Grimston to make use of his house at Smeaton if visiting tennants and S Kelsey's Town Farm going very fast to ruin
