DescriptionIncludes references to a letter from Mrs Stow mentioning that she had met with Grimston's little Post boy in great distress, having lost the bag containing the letters and news; he having been back as far as Bishop Burton; Mrs Stow having written to Mr Bland with instructions to direct the letters to Copgrove if the bag should be found; if not found it should be cried at the Market today; Mrs Stow's account of Grimston's stud being that the Chaise Horse remains the same and the rest are tolerably well but that those belonging to the Town's people have distemper; having sent to enquire how the horses are that Grimston has there; having been with Grimston's young ones to hear Alexander's feast but the author preferring Axis and Galatea; them that afternoon going to practice ytheir Cottilions; having had delightful summer weather since Grimston went to Copgroves but today having been "violent Bluster and Rain"; Grimston going to the Legard's Friday and Saturday so that Mr Mills may see some of their Company and Entertainments; awaiting Mr Duncomb and his party and the horse that Grimston had left still having a cough but being better
