DescriptionIncludes references to Rob[in] Grimston's agreement to grant an annuity to the Coll[one]l and the person who determined the value of the annuity being a Jew and a broker on the exchange; question of what annual sum is a person aged 63 entitled to for his life on the payment of £3000; Robin's agreement; a life of 63 being determined to be worth no more than 8 and a half years purchase and the Jew having determined it to be worth 12 and a half years purchase; Legard and Col[onel] Bagnall's opinion; mediation of the recipient; Barny; prints sent by Robin; the Bishop of Carlisle proposing calling on the recipient and will be able to supply him with franks; the Cartwrights all being well and lodged at Kensington; Ranalagh flourishing much though they have raised the price to half a crown without any alteration; hoping to write that the recipient's organ is finished and the Bagnalls all being well and proposing to go into the country in about 10 days
