DescriptionIncludes references to having received a Trunk and 2 Boxes for Grimston from London also a sword and a [w]hip, to be sent that evening to Beverley [by] James' directions; having given orders about the clinkers but has not yet received them as the ship's masters will not take them if they can take goods that pay a better freight but he will try to get a Master who is going to Holland to bring them on his return; enquiries after coffee; giving Grimston's tenants a summons; having paid Grimston's bill to Nancy and plans to get Grimston's wine home, enquiring if he would like a supply of Old Hock, of which he has a very good supply that has been bottled for over a year
