Includes references to a fine being acknowledged; old deeds relating to the greatest part of the Estate mentioned in the Mortgage being in his Brother's hands and it having been in the family for four-score years; very little of the estate excepting Lund was by his Uncle; the writings relating to Lund being in Mr Martyn's hands and Mr Luke Robinson being able to inform him where they are; a suit about Garrowby; a letter that Jarratt has received from Mr Robinson; the mortgage money having been taken up to pay off a mortgage that Mr Thornton had upon Garrowby Estate which they were advised to take up to secure the money that his late Uncle had upon Garrowby and the estate mortgaged to Grimston being about £400 per year
