DescriptionIncludes an article 'Great Park, Wressle: an East Riding deer park in the 16th century' by Sue Needham. The Percy family, Earls of Northumberland held estates at Leconfield, Catton and Wressle. At Wressle there were two deer parks: a small one near the house and a much larger great park covering 184 acres.
Also an obituary of G Philip Brown, who lived in Beverley from 1963, where he was Deputy Borough Librarian and from 1974 until his death in 1987 was in charge of Beverley's local studies collection.
