DescriptionComments upon the cattle in the area. An extra train is being laid on from Chicago for visitors and an new town is being built 12 miles from Cody. Land value has increased from $5 to $2,500. Land changes hands three or four times a day. Roosevelt may be visiting which will increase prices further. Comments upon the bird season at Hayton. Letters are constantly lost in Cody and should be registered in order to receive them. Buffalo Bill is due soon and an electric railway is being spoken about. Coyotes are a worry and kill a lot of cattle, bobcats too are prevalent. Speaks of a grizzly bear attack.
