Is enclosing two letters (only one attached). The South African constabulary is full. West Africa might provide an opportunity.
Letter from Ronpell, a clerk in the Colonial Office which suggests his friend write in to get his name on the list. If he can recommend him personally it will greatly help. The other letter from Colonal Gordon who is AAG for Cavalry (not present).
