Date
31 Aug 1839
Description
The financial business has reached a status quo as Mr Rudston[?] will not take a step without the sanction of Lightfoot and Earnshaw in case he commits to his creditors. Has written a letter to Mr Rudston explaining that he must answer the bill and if he was not William Henry Rudston Read's uncle he would have him committed to the Fleet for contempt.
