Description | This concerns some 200 ash trees, value £20, that were felled at Goole. The land was demised to Thomas Rudston by his godfather, Thomas Dawnay. It appears that the purchase paid for half the trees and the remaining trees were taken, illicitly, by a tenant. There followed a court case of suing the tenant by Margaret Rudston on behalf of her teenage son, Thomas Rudston and the purchaser suing Thomas. |
