Has letter pasted in front from Bernard Halliday, bookseller, of Leicester, to John E. Champney: "... I shall be pleased to allow 5% discount off the a/c. The books are very cheap, the Knaresborough cost late owners £26.5.0 so it cannot be dear at £7.10.0. I had 2 other orders one from Viscount Lascelles, but I would rather you had it as you used to be a good customer & I want to do business with you again". Dated 22 October 1913.
