Description | Comprises part of a series of plans numbered 75-8542 for the Hull Northern and Western Town Planning Scheme. Plans were submitted to the Hull City Engineer's office. These plans relate to the Beverley Rural District and Haltemprice Urban District Council areas, which appear to have been separated from Hull plans and transferred to the East Riding County Council. Consequently, there are many gaps in the series, which presumably relate to Hull City.
Plans were submitted under the terms of the Ribbon Development Act, 1935, and have been stamped as approved by the Hull Corporation as not infringing the Hull Northern and Western Town Planning Scheme. The series ends in 1948 following the 1947 Town Planning Act.
Files contain a form entitled 'Notices of intended new street, new building, addition to an existing building, uses of land, or change of uses of land or building within the area of a Town Planning Scheme' with the plan.
No register or finding aid for this series of plans has survived |
