Harry was born in Beverley in 1884 the son of Benjamin Hudson Reynolds and Sarah Reynolds (nee Mennell), he was one of 8 children. He worked at the whiting works near Beverley Westwood. In 1911 he was in India, based in the Chakrata United Provinces, as a soldier in the 4th Battalion The Kings Royal Rifles.
Harry is named on the Beverley War Memorial in Hengate.
