Circumstances: this young girl had been in a situation in North Wales, foolishly left it and walked to Hull with a young man, with whom she had kept company for about 6 months and who promised to marry her on reaching Hull (where his friends supposed to live) but instead of doing so he turned her adrift and she was found destitute in Paragon Street by Mr Locking, tobacconist, who informed PC Traynor, who brought her to this home
