Circumstances: this young woman along with a female companion and two young men came to Hull and took lodgings in Percy Street and after staying a few days, the young man and the other young woman left early in the morning without the knowledge of either the landlady or the girl and leaving her to pay the lodgings, as she had no money the lady with whom she lodged complained to the police and the girl was brought to this home by Detective Vollans
