Circumstances: this young girl was found sleeping out in the Pearson's Park by PC 239 Howgate who brought her to this home. She stated that she had been living at Withernsea as an adopted child since she was five years old and that she had been sent to Hull to seek employment and that she had not to return to Withernsea. These statements proved to be false. She afterwards told us her father's address, her father stating she had run away from home on three previous occasions
