Circumstances: this young woman was found destitute on the pier by PC Arnott who brought her to this home. She stated that she had come to Hull to see a friend who was a seaman, had gone to sea. She also stated she had lost her money. Her parents were informed by telephone through the Skegness police and they expected she was in a situation at Halifax
