Description	Date admitted: 16 Jan 1913 Age: 16 Address: Hull Circumstances: this young girl was found destitute in Leonard Street at midnight by PC Stow who brought her to this home. She stated she had been in a situation which she had left and that when she arrived home her mother would not take her in (her father was working out of town). The home manager made inquiries and found her statements were false. She had not been home and her step-mother expected she was in a situation in the country Days in the home: 14 Date left the home: 30 Jan 1913 Situation on departure: after her parents were seen we decided to keep her in the home and another situation was found for her Bound volume containing handwritten entries including: date of admission; age, name, address and circumstances; situation on departure and monies donated
