Circumstances: this young woman had been in Hull about two years and during that time she had been in lodgings and had been working in a factory after she had paid her lodgings and her insurance she had only 9d left for her clothes and etcetera. She had a quarrel with the people with whom she lodged and left them. She was found on the Holderness Road about midnight by Inspector Barker, who brought her to this home. She was thoroughly destitute but appeared to be a bright intelligent girl
