Circumstances: this young woman came over to the Hull Fair on the Saturday afternoon and missed their train home (she went to the Paragon Station but ought to have gone to the Excursion Platform Newington). She was brought to this home by a Mr Thompson of the Hull City Mission as this girl was in service and was anxious to get back to her situation. She was by Howden and Booth Ferry (there are no trains run to Goole direct on a Sunday)
