Circumstances: ran away from her home in York and walked to Market Weighton. She told the vicar there that she belonged to Hull and that she was desirous to get to her home and the Reverend Gentleman kindly paid her fare to Hull and gave a note to give to the police when she got here. When at the police she admitted telling untruths and that her home way in York. Her father was informed through the police there, who telephoned to say the father was in very poor circumstances and was unable to send her train fare
