Circumstances: this young girl left home for the purpose of going to a situation at Hull which she had previously obtained but on arriving here she went into lodgings instead of going to her situation. She was eventually found destitute and was taken to the Norfolk Street station and was sent to this home by Superintendant Alvin. Her parents were informed and her father came over to see her. Her father stated that she had been in several situations but noone would keep her on account of her violent conduct. She was unmanageable, her parents could not do anything with her and did not want her at home. She left this home the next day to go to a situation but did not go and was again found destitute in the Market Place a few days later by Inspector Burton, who brought her again to this home
