Circumstances: this young girl was found destitute and was taken to the Worshop Street station and afterwards to this home. She stated that her father and mother were dead and that she had no home and that she had come to Hull to try and get a situation. The home manager made inquiries of the police at Scunthorpe and it was found that she had good home and that her parents were alive, but for the last four years they had not been able to manage her. Her general character was very bad
