She was found destitute in Savile Street by PC Cherry who brought her to this home. She had been brought up at the Hessle Cottage Homes Days in the home: 1 Date left the home: 15 Jan 1912 Situation on departure: the authorities were informed by telephone and she was fetched back to the homes the following day Bound volume containing handwritten entries including: date of admission; age, name, address and circumstances; situation on departure and monies donated
