Circumstances: this young woman foolishly left her home in Nottingham and came to Hull with a man unknown to her and told her he would get a good situation for her in Hull but on arriving here he slipped away from her and left her stranded, she was found on the Monument Bridge at nidnight by PC Pratt who brought her to this home. Inquiries were made by the Nottingham Police but her friends were in poor circumstances and could not pay her fare home
