One of these girls had been reported as missing and PC Waines had seen the photograph and recognised them in the Market Place and brought them to this home. Days in the home: 1 Date left the home: 6 Jan 1905 Situation on departure: their parents were informed (by telephone through the Grimsby police) who fetched them home the following day,who paid the expenses incurred (see also POL/4/6/2/7/34 Elizabeth Crash)
