| Description | Date admitted: 18 Feb 1909 Age: 16 Address: Stoneferry Circumstances: this young girl had been in lodgings for some time but for a few weeks had out of work and was destitute. She was sent to this home by Superintendant Alvin. The Mayoress (Mrs Feldman) and also Mr Coun Gould took a great interest in the girl and who visited her at the home. From inquiries it was found that her father (if he may be called by that name) would not have her at home, although there appears to be nothing known against her character. She is a willing girl Days in the home: 15 Date left the home: 5 Mar 1909 Situation on departure: she was fitted up for service and a situation was obtained for her in Percy Street. She is getting on very well
