Circumstances: found destitute on Hessle Road by a lady who took her to the St Georges Road fire box and she was sent to this home by PC Leighton. The girl stated she had been sent to Hull from Newcastle on Tyne to get a situation but failed. Her story was found to be false she having run away from home in Hull. Her father a street musician and has but one leg stated she was constantly running away from home. They are in very poor circumstances and possessed only one bed, the girl having to sleep with her father
