| Description | Date admitted: 20 Feb 1907 Age: 19 Address: Barton Circumstances: this young woman was brought to this home by PC Skinner, she stated she had got a situation in Hull but that the lady could not take her until the following day and it was too late to get home. She left the following morning to go to her place as was expected but she was found again the following night on the Anlaby Road at 1.30am by PC Evans who brought her again to this home, it was then found her statement was false. Her parents werte informed, her mother came over to see us and begged us to keep her as they could not manage her. They were in extremely poor circumstances, we decided to keep her Days in the home: 16 Date left the home: 8 Mar 1907 Situation on departure: a situation was found for her at Hornsea and we think she is getting on alright
